Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other theatrical performances. Ana started learning how to play and sing at an early age with her mother. She was given more formal singing instruction when she was 16 years old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. Following her move in America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current home in southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions singing the traditional Latin American Music. Her love and passion for art, music, and performing keeps her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana was a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
